Mystery "6th" stud on '08 sedans?!!

I went to test fit my front driver-side wheel but when I took the OEM wheel off, I found there are actually 6 studs on the hub?! Well, it's more like a half-stud -- so 5 1/2 studs!

W...T...F?!!!

So how are aftermarket wheels supposed to fit on there if there are only 5 holes?

Someone, please, HELP! =/

I think that little bolt is so that the rear wheels do not get placed on the front. Just remove that thing.

Yep, it's just a bolt to prevent the rear wheels from being accidentally mounted to the front hub. Just take it off.

As stated above. Just take it off. It isnt serving any purpose other than making sure the staggered wheels on the sports go where they are suppose to go.

im not concerned about the nub,

its the fact that town fair tire took it off, then put my wheels in the wrong spot.

at first i thought it was just a mess up. but they had to modify my car so they could mess it up....

ill just have to watch the tire monkeys more closely next time

My 07 6mt had that stud. I removed it for my 20's to be installed.
