When you drop your car do you readjust headlights?

So if I drop my car on Eibachs, do I have to readjust my headlights. Common sense said I should because car is lower so angle of headlights changes with it. Does it make sense?

I lowered mine on Eibachs and i didnt notice a difference on the angle or area lit up by my headlights.
If I compared mine before and after I might have noticed.

If you do decided to lower it, take pics or measure the beam height to answer this. I would like to see the results.

I lowered my G on H&R's and noticed a significant change where the cutoff of the lights are.. still I was too lazy to adjust it. I eventually got used to the change.

I recommend adjusting the cutoff if it bugs you. IMO w/ Eibach drop, you don't really need to adjust it. If you go lower, then I recommend them to be adjusted accordingly.

Depends on whether or not one has auto leveling headlights.

The auto leveling headlights are controlled by a sensor on the rear suspension. Lowering the car will make the headlight leveling system think you have a heavy load in the trunk and drive the headlights down.

There is an adjustment in the CONSULT-III to zero the system after you lower the car. I have not had mine done yet so I don't know how much difference it would make.

Alternatively, you can physically aim the headlights old school style with the adjustment screws on the housing assemblies.

I don't have auto level.
I haven't done mine but I need to.
Depending on how it's lowered, the rake also changes, which will have a bigger impact than drop alone.

...auto leveling huh. Must be on the cars that have adaptive headlights. Didn't think our cars had this feature... Hmmm, time to consult my owner's manual.
