I'm staying away from the rear unless I can get it for pi$$ cheap. I'm having a hard time convincing myself to get the 2pc fronts, so has anyone heard of these guys or have any previous experience? ---> http://www.dba.com.au/node/5538

DBA's are good rotors from what i heard from mostly owners using their cars for motorsports. Although, question is, do they have applications for our cars?

Not that I know of. The high end DBA rotors are $$$ too.

I have not had good experience with DBA rotors. I had them on a previous car and one of the rotors was completely warped from the get go and they did not wear well at all.. the surfaces pitted and gouged terribly. Although, they were just their basic 1-pc slotted rotor, they still weren't cheap, so I would have expected them to be better. I won't buy them again. Just my $.02.

FYI... Riverside is supposed to be offering these at a discounted price, but I doubt it will be considerably less. Check with Rick and see what he has to say.

Ok, so who's interested in getting a matching set of rear 2-pc rotors!?!? I talked to Mike and Warren at RacingBrake last week and they are ready to move forward with the rear rotors. They have a sign up list on their forum with GB pricing, so for any of you that are interested please go to the following web-site and sign up. http://forums.racingbrake.com/showthread.php?t=753

Update on the RacingBrake 2-Pc rear rotors!

Just went in for the test fit last week and everything looks good.. they only need to make a slight modification to the seating surface for the internal parking brake, otherwise fitment looks perfect, so production should start soon.

FYI... they used 6061 billet aluminum for the "hat" part of the rotor assembly to help save additional weight. This helped these rotors come in at 4lbs lighter than the factory rotors per side. While not as great of a weight savings as the fronts, that's still a huge weight savings, especially considering that's both unsprung weight and rotating mass. Here are a couple of pics of the rotors on the scale:

They are hoping to have the first preproduction units ready to install on my car before the end of the month, so I will keep you guys updated.

Just an update for everyone...

The RacingBrake rear rotors are shipping. I picked mine up a few weeks ago but haven't had a chance to install them yet. I know that Travis (KulG35) already installed his and they are working well, so that's good.

I'll try and take a few pics of them to post before I install them, but they look very nice... just as nice as the fronts. I'm hoping to install them over the holiday weekend this weekend. Will keep everyone posted.
