I wanted to know your opinion on that particular tire size as well as the tpms. My initial thought was to sell the tires and get a new set in 245/40/19 or 255/40/19. Thoughts? Also, are most of you guys running sensors in your aftermarket wheels? I don't really want to spend another $300 bucks on sensors, but I don't want to deal with the tire light being on all the time. Can you bypass the system at all?

For those who want to see pics of the setup, check out the link below:

Thanks in advance, and let me know what you think of new wheels!
Nice choice in wheels! Love mine! Here is what I decided to do: https://g35driver.com/forums/nationa...gt-s-here.html. I went with 245/35/19 (8.5") in the fronts and 275/30/19 (9.5") in the rear. I also bought new OEM sensors and had them installed before shipping to me. Then I just went to the dealer to have them linked to my car. Feel free to PM me any questions.

Thanks for the link. Your car looks awesome. I hope mine looks that good when I get these mounted. I think I'm going to use the sensors on the car for now and pick up new sensors come winter time.

Alright guys, wheels are here. They look awesome. Now I need to buy new tires and mount these up. I really want to hear everyone's opinion on tires. I know the 245/40s will fit but I think they're a little too narrow. The 255/40s will fit but they're not as close to the stock tire as the 275/35s.

As of now I want to go with 275/35s to accomodate the 9.5" width. Can they fit on all four corners? No drop. Not planning one for a while.

Basically tell me what to do. haha. Rim size again is 19x9.5 +35. I have the X so everything needs to be the same...Thanks.

Ok you got an X so why do you want everything to be the same??? You can still have 275 in the rear and 245 in the front like most guys have on their S.

I was under the impression it would mess with the awd/vdc if the tires were different.

I dont want to stretch the tires. Not really my taste. Running different size tires wont mess with the vdc/awd?

Any of you guys have pics of a 245/40 tire on a 19x9.5?

I still haven't seen decent pictures with these rims on the G35 sedans. There aren't many sedans with them around I guess???

Well I like that idea. Always good to have something different.

Once I figure out this tire dilemma I'll be sure to post some pics.

It's between 245/40 and 275/35. I want the same on every corner. Dont want to even think about potential problems with the vdc/awd.

Anyone know if 275/35 fits up front on a stock height sedan?

That would be some wide meat up front! Maybe, those are wide rims...
Know what though, some shops will actually let you change your mind. I went to Discount Tire and they were ready and willing to let me put the 275/35's on for size, literally. If they didn't fit, they were willing to find the profile that did. Don't know if that is like a company policy or something, but it won't hurt (probably) to ask.
What did you decide for lugs? Center caps? Can't wait to see pics!

If you are not planning on lowering your car, you need to go with the 245. Your wheels are already going to be poking out at least 3-4 mm's at stock height, and the 275 will have some additional bulge. Will the 275's fit... Possibly. Will it look good... Probably not.

My 19x9.5" +37 rears (with 275/35 tires) poke out a tad on my car, and I am lowered running around -1.8 degrees of negative camber. If you are not lowered or running negative camber, you need a little stretch in order to not look like a 4x4 monster truck.

Just using basic locking lugs for now. Center caps and everything are on there. I can't wait to get them mounted. Just waiting for the tpms adadpters to come in the mail.

Thanks for the input. I'm going with 245/40 to avoid the monster truck look. haha. Thanks again. Tires are getting ordered today.
