Just bought Volk 19s!

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and Infiniti so take it easy on me. Anyway, I just bought a set of 19x9.5" +35 Volk GT-S for my 07X. The tires that came with the wheels are 255/30/19 Pirelli's. I wanted to know your opinion on that particular tire size as well as the tpms. My initial thought was to sell the tires and get a new set in 245/40/19 or 255/40/19. Thoughts? Also, are most of you guys running sensors in your aftermarket wheels? I don't really want to spend another $300 bucks on sensors, but I don't want to deal with the tire light being on all the time. Can you bypass the system at all?

For those who want to see pics of the setup, check out the link below:

Thanks in advance, and let me know what you think of new wheels!

you can use the stock sensors. You can buy aftermarket sensor mounting brackets that mount on the end of the air valve from the inside. As for tires, you definitely need something with a bigger sidewall than 255/30

If u want to go really low U can rock 255/35/19 all around. and take out the gap witht he drop. Moderate drop, U can have 245/40/19

You can use adapters for the TPMS, and use your existing ones. It will probably be easier to wait until you buy new tires.

The GTS does not have 2 valve stem locations, so you have to use some type of adapter. I used the ones from iForged, and they worked out fine (I re-used my existing TPMS-- most tire shops will switch them over for free when you buy tires).

TPMS adapters: http://www.iforged.com/store/index.p...28b8647431373f

You will want to go with something like a 245/40/19 (this is closest to stock size) or possibly 255/35/19.

Thanks for the feedback. Did you choose the straight or the 90 degree adapters? Is that all you need, or do you need the bracket adapter as well? I want to get another set of sensors because I will need them come winter time when the wheels come off for the snow. Any idea where to get a set for cheap money? Thanks.

Also, are the stock lug nuts compatible with the Volks? Is there a brand or size you guys recommend? Thanks.

No, the stock lugs are NOT compatible. You need the conical looking aftermarket type lugs. Looking into Rays, Work, Muteki, Project Kics, Project Mu, etc.
