Looks good! I am sure you know this, and you will keep hearing it, but a mild drop would finish it off.

Ya I know. I really have to think about doing it. If the roads and winters here in MA weren't bad I'd be all over it. Are the Tein H-Techs the softest ride? I need something with some forgiveness.

Impul's probably have the best ride and the mildest drop, but they are $$$. The H-techs should have a good ride, but any time you lower a car, there is some sacrifice (especially with stock shocks).

The BC coilovers seem like a good option. You can specify a lower spring rate for a better ride, and they are both height and dampening adjustable. This would allow you to adjust the dampening to your liking, and also raise the car some in the winter if needed.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics...that's all I could do for now.
Cool! NICE! looking good! You're not dropped though right? Yeah the resolution is not that great but it's still alright quality.

^^^And yes if going for a great drop and great quality then coilovers are the BEST choice!!! I would personally go with Tein SS (super street) ...I told my brother to buy those whenever he wanted to lower his car. So he did, and now he can't be happier with whichever drop he wants and the ride quality he gets. When I drive with him in his car I can't believe he is lowed!! Compared to my ride quality it's amazing! Very comfortable coilovers. And he says it's only on half the softness set-up.
I personally went with springs and shocks because I didn't know better and I wasn't ready to pay $$$ for it. My first lowering springs were Eibach and I hated them, rough quality and uneven drop. Then I went with H&R and I loved the ride quality but the front wasn't dropped enough compared to the rear. Then I bought H-tech springs and swapped them in the front only and the drop is dead even. H-tech and H&R springs are great, but coilovers are THE WAY TO GOOO!!

I think he has an X, and the Tein SS is not an option. I agree though, I like the SS-P's. I will be installing them on my car in the near future....

I'd be all about the coilovers if I didnt just spend a pretty penny on these wheels and tires. Maybe I'll check out the H&R springs. I'm really looking for ride quality then height of drop.

I will post up when I get them. I am working on changing out the wheels and changing out the Eibach springs for the coilovers. I have some paintwork being done next week (installing front lip), and I will start in on the wheels/suspension changes after that....

in all reality, i would save up to get the coilovers if you know for sure that at some point down the future you will be getting coils. dont forget you will need front control arms and rear camber with a drop
