I discovered that the windows auto up/down feature was disabled after the battery disconnect as well as the auto tilt feature of the steering column. I just edited the first post (toward the bottom) with instructions to reactive these features.

Thanks again Lemodular.

In the very beginning of your instructions, you list a torx T10 tamper proof bit under tools you used. Should this be a T30?

Can you also clarify why you chose to use the 2 coarser screws as opposed to the ones Jason supplied? Were the threads on the supplied screws too fine to get a good bite?

Yes it should be a T-30, thanks for catching that. I wrote that write-up very late that night. It is now corrected.

I chose to use the coarser threaded screws because it matches better with the existing oem screws that attaches the plastic to plastic. It will probably bite into the non-threaded plastic hole better than the 10mm bolts supplied by Jason. The bolts looks like it is made for torquing more than anchoring.

Please verify the screw size, I only guessed at the size. Use the existing screw to get a better match.

I have a doubt regarding the hole for the power steering column switch. I have a base 2007 G and I don't have that switch because I don't get electrical column steering. If I mount the paddles I imagine that I will have a hole in my column setup???

as for the non-powered steering adjustment ****, please call Jason or to verify the lower trim that will fit your application (I don't know what it looks like).

I bought the paddle set from Jason@Riverside, they just came in the mail today. I can't wait to do the install. Many thanks to Lemodular for the write-up.

Only $200 ?!?

This detailed description makes the install look super easy.
Has anyone else, not having a clue as to what they are doing, followed this precedure and had good results yet?
Any work behind the steering wheel has always had me a little nervous. I don't want a face full of airbag.
I assume the disconnected battery takes care of this threat?

And with the airbag being so easy to remove, the $10 airbag anti-theft bolt install may be a good idea at the same time.

I'm doing this.... I'm just waiting for feedback from others.

Thanks for the write-up!!!

Airbag theft used to be rampant a few years back, but I don't think it's as bad now. Then again, some people will steal a car like this for parts and the airbag is quite an expensive part that's easy to move since it doesn't have any way to identify as stolen.

The anti-theft bolts (they made some for driver and passenger side airbags) have round tapered heads so that they're not easy to grip. The Nissan ones should fit Infiniti cars, but I don't know for sure.

oh ok, so it's like a wheel lock for your airbag.... nice, don't think i need it though (just in case my car needs servicing and i forgot where i put the key) but it is a fairly inexpensive buy, and nice to know it is available if i ever think i need it....
