If anyone is planning to get bulbs through 3Bspec I will say go for it. I ordered my 8000k bulbs yesterday and got them this morning, can't beat that. They look awesome as well, a mix of between white and blue, definitely more pleasant than stock bulbs.

I was thinking about getting either the 5k or 6k. I'm looking for the whitest I can get without having any yellow and as little blue as possible. Have any of ya'll had experience with the 5k bulbs, and how do they compare to the 6k in terms of being purely white as opposed to white with hints of blue?

I've been reading through these posts and have seen a lot of good info. I need to get new bulbs and am probably going to get some from 3bspecialties. I cant decide on which temp bulb though...I like the slight blue look but I also don't want to sacrifice night visibility. I wanna try to get them ordered today so any quick thoughts will be appreciated.

I had the 8k's from 3B for a couple years but I was never happy with the reduced visibility. I live on a dark country road and I wanted a bit more light throw. The 8K's were a bit too blue for me. I recently switched to the 6K and absolutely love them. The light quality is very similar to the Range Rover. I bought the Philips 6K off eBay. A bit pricey but worth it. I coupled them with the yellow Hoen Endurance 9006 fog bulbs. Love the look.

Ok thanks. Yah, I'm leaning more towards the 5 or 6K I think because I do want to maintain the best visibility. Unfortunately I'm limited by money on this issue so I'm looking to stay relatively cheap, but still get the best for the price you know? I'm hoping it's just the bulb that blew and not a failed ballast. Thanks for the links though, I'll definitely keep those in mind.
