Exhaust

Sorry if this has been covered before. I searched for "exhaust" and came back with quite a few threads.

What is changed between the G35/37 coupe exhaust and the G35? I love my car, but I would love it even more if I could get the exhaust note the same.

If this has been covered, again, my apologies. Please just direct me to the right place!

Ha - I was just wondering the same thing. It is possible the G35 has a silencer after the cat and the G37 doesn't.

I would love to get that raspy sound back I had in my 06 G35c or my 07 FX35 - I miss it.

its probably just different type of mufflers between the g35/g37 coupes...and there is probably a resonator/silencer on the sedan exhaust to keep the tone queiter...just go look under your car and compare it the the underside of a g37/g35 coupe

unbolt your mufflers and see if you like the sound.

The only concern that I have is will that cause the car to lose bottom end torque? All of the other cars I've had really lost torque when you removed the back pressure. The stock exhaust looks like a straight through design so maybe there is no loss. Anybody have dyno results?
