ok so based on my research seems K&N is the best one to go with. Anyone with the K&N intakes able to tell me roughly how much hp gain, mileage gain, and how nice the sound is?

 

Try this review thread. In my opinion, it's a waste of money on this car. I have used these filters on all my cars, but somehow can't tell any difference with them installed on the G.

 

sounds the same,maybe a couple HP thats it,gas mileage not enough to know the difference.

 

Increases in both are negligible. Not worth the money.

 

I own these, but am sorry to say no noticeable change in sound or HP.

In fact cobb tuning did a blog entry on the intake performance of stock vs after market on the 3.7 VQHR and there was no noticeable difference other than poorer AF ratios with after market.
