Remove y pipe and replace with x or h. Thats what i did after i replaced the mufflers with magnaflows and it sounds perfect to me.

Removing the resonator or cats or high flow cats will make it louder, but it will come with more drone (audible exhaust at cruise inside the car) and more rasp.

Another option for even louder exhaust...... on a temporary when you want it basis.... would be an exhaust cutout. You can get an electronic cutout that'll bypass the mufflers with the flip of a switch. They run about $150.

But, it will be loud.... and it will be raspy.

That's the world of v6 exhaust. You can't get very loud without rasp.

Ok, ok, ok. It is ridiculously loud, but my magnaflow X muffler is in and I intend to install some baffled resonators hopefully sunday.

But here it is so far:

2.25" pipe, cat back, no crossover and Magnaflow mufflers.

want louder?
get 3" pipe all the way around with HFC, that should raise the noise level
