A couple of ppl have already got theirs and have liked em but no personal dyno's however R2C did thier dynos on a g37 coupe and got a lot of varying results which are said to be dependent on each vehicles ECU, and honestly put them on the table they got a peak average of 10whp and min of i think 2whp on one car but however had no loss in power in any runs. So you got to go by wat you priorties are.

The sound described by ppl who got them is said to be better and lounder growl than the 350z as these are complete tubes.

Mine is due to be shipped today and should have it by friday

also should mention that the filters/;intakes really shine when they are loaded with dust while others start to rob the car of power these keep efficiency and performance over 99% at all times.

kool yaar - I have been reading the thread on the g37 thread for the past hr. haha its taking a while to get through the thread. Glad to see you pull through with this... even after all the delays.

Question for you:

About the sound, say under mild and moderate aceleration, will it be loud? or just a hint louder? I know its gonna be loud on WOT, which I like.

I already have a stillen exhaust and I dont really wanna make my car any louder than it already is, unless I want it too, say under WOT. So im really interested in how it sound during mild and moderate acceleration.

What do you think? Anyone else with thoughts on this, chime in. Im thinking injens will have the same kind of sound?

I read a thread of in myg37 all about intakes, apparently the R2Cs make the same sound as the popchargers and Fujitas so loud after 4000Rpm, while injen has a more agressive sound. These things should be pretty good for preventing heatsoak because of the heat shields that actually block it up to the hood liner.

I have HFCs, a custom X pipe to tanabe mufflers and a custom Fujita intake all I can say is Under WOT in the car, can't really hear the exhaust, it's just the WHOOOOOOOMMMMMMPPPPPPP of the intakes and engine up front.
under partial throttle my exhaust is louder than my intakes for sure, it's pretty mellow.

And really? are the R2Cs the best looking intakes?
I like mine hehehehe

the filter is sealed to the hood, but the piping will get hot, warming the air, i like plastic the best, but that black chrome looks amazing

I know where you logic is coming from, but with the air being sucked in that fast, would there be enough contact/heat to heat up the air while it is going through the pipe?

id say if your trying to squeeze very little bit of perf out of it then yes, but otherwise no. it gets awefully hot under the hood. but i will say, that kit and the blue one sure look awesome
