have any of you guys tried cleaning your maf's? I always found that cleaning that fixed more idle issues then anything else.

Well I finally got this fixed. Turns out my timing chain was off 1 tooth. Now she runs like a dream.

^ glad to hear they figured it out, but how did that happen? was their some work done on to engine where they messed up? or do you suspect it was off from the factory? very strange.

Good question. So my water pump broke several weeks before. I suspect when it broke it may have interfeared with the chain. The dealership that fixed the waterpump was so shady they tried telling me I had bent valves and needed a new engine for 7k. Just FYI, don't ever go to nalley Infiniti of Decatur georgia. They'll slit your throat for a farthing.

my car has similar issue. while car is in D but stopped. RPM drop to ~500. thats when i get minor yet annoying vibrations. i cleaned TB, changed spark plugs, cleaned MAF and flashed ECU....stealership said it was engine mounts. local mechanic tested w/ computer and said idle rpm are normal. i have 100k miles. i end up driving w/ constant AC on now as it pushed rpm ~100rpm higher. which helps a lot.

you may have to perform the idle air relearn.
