It works gloriously!!! I havent taken it for a spin yet but I'll use the dynolicious on the way home from work.

Oh yeah, all those peeps with their timing set to something other than 0....its a programming error.

+2 extracts more power, -2 reduces it plain and simple. Just be sure to be running premium gas ALL the time with the advanced timing.

nice! about time!! go enjoy the tune now.

btw, mine is still for sale

i just decided that since I am not going to do any engine mods to this car, that this bullydog isnt needed. While I felt the power gains on the stock engine, I just dont need it.

Is BullyDog a one-time tune in that once you have updated the ECU, you do not need to keep BD plugged into your car? Can you just buy it, update the ECU, then resell it? Or is there a one car per BD unit limit?

Once you hook up the bullydog and upload the tune, you can remove the bully dog. The ECU has been tuned. I believe however that once you tune the car, the bullydog stores the engine code in the unit so that you cannot install it on another vehicle UNLESS you go through all the steps to remove the tune from the original ECU.

mine says -2 for the timming, is that an error? I want to keep the timming at stock and just use the premium tune.... I did not change the timming but it shows -2 ... should I change it to 0 to bring it to stock number ?

If you want stock timing with the premium tune, you should be at 0
I'm running the premium tune with +2 timing and the car runs like a top.

My dealer offers the +2 timing adjustment, so I know it's accepted there as well.

i chatted with Gary at bullydog and he thinks the -2 is their recommended setting with the premium tune. I asked him to confirm this with a tech but they are gone for the day.

That makes no sense to me, and mine was set to 0 after the Premium tune went in.
Let us know when they get back to you with more info.

I'm on 1.2.2E
It was created with my ECU # in mind, so I'm not changing until they tell me to.
I'm not looking to cause issues with the G that only an exorcism can fix... that's for sure.

in that case I am thinking it is a programming error in 1.22f, we will know for sure tomorrow.

EDIT: who else here on the forums is running 1.22f and running premium tune? Do you have -2 for your timing as well ?

I am running 1.2.2e with premium tune. My timing was also set to -2 when i installed but i changed it to +2, after changing my timing to +2 that is when my mpg went up from ~19 to 21.7 with same driving habits and route. Bullydog also had 1.2.2e custom made just for my ecu.
