Yeah I have got to say I am still intrested in the Bullydog tune and at first I was going to pick it up before my intakes, however recently I have become a bit hesitant to pull the trigger on it. I think I am going to wait until we get a bit more of the results before I dive in and look into others mods for the time being.

It provided more kick than my exhaust, intakes and grounding wires combined, but it may shine as well as it does due to those mods.
That I don't know.

Until I see the real dyno, butt dyno's mean nothing. All it had to do was shift the power band lower with literally NO increase in peak tq or power to trick you into thinking it made a difference.

It's like 50 bucks for three dyno runs around here

I couldn't imagine dishing out 400 for an unproven hp increase without at least spending another 50 to find out if it really works.

It may be $50 on your planet, but it's three times that price on mine

Seriously?! We even have 30 dollar 'dyno days'. KC kinda has a cheap asses market though and they wouldn't get any business if they didn't do things so cheap.

Anybody know if this tune works on the rev-up (non-HR) engines?

Going by the Bully Dog website the only engine it lists for the 05' G35 is the HR. I would try posting in the v35 section to see if anyone has given it a shot.

$50 for one dyno pull here. so to get accurate results probably around 6 pulls are needed. 3 before and 3 after (the least i'd do is 2 before and 3 after). That alone is $250-300.

I'm probably gonna be the guinea pig for this thing. I'm waiting till I get a few things sorted out first before I get my hands on it though. I'm really hoping it bumps up our torque curve and area under the curve for hp, especially in the lower portion of the powerband.

Not sure how cheap everyone on these boards are and the feasibility of this idea, but if someone is willing to get real results, as Q8y just suggested (3 before, 3 after) and post results, I'd paypal some money for a 'dyno proof' fund. :-)

I just checked and I stand corrected... It's $100 for three pulls, not $150 as I remember it being.
My first thought is that I have more improtant things for my money right now, like getting my springs installed. My second thought is that when I do head out there, I'll need a few pulls without my intakes, running without the BD tune and a few runs running with the tune. I'll then need a few runs with the intakes back in again to see if there is any gain, but these all need to have time given for ECU adaption as well.
The whole project just seems a bit daunting.

Thing is 3 pulls really isn't enough.
I was looking at 2 base & 2 modified, it was going to be ~buck25
