HFC with Stock Exhaust Setup

Ok so I've heard a couple members here have some HFC's with their stock exhaust setup and was wondering if there is any videos on youtube that I may have missed. Is it worth getting any HFC with stock exhaust or just going Full Custom Catback for $6-700?

^^it depends what your looking for with your exhaust. Do you want the aftermarket sound of a deep growl coming from your exhaust---then you get a full catback
if your looking for a stock exhaust sound but slightly louder and deeper like the g37 coupe, then you get the HFC. there should be videos either on here or youtube.

IMO putting HFC on a stock system is like turning the waterhose on full blast and then putting a kink in the line. you are going to hinder the full ability the HFC will be able to offer. but to each its own. look into the tannabe Axelback if you are looking for a bit louder sound for not that much cash. a HFC setup is going to cost you around 500 anyway.

There are some videos around, at least for the BERK w/ stock exhaust. Like everyone said it just depends on what you want. I just got the BERK HFCs put on and I like the sound a lot. I plan on getting a sound clip but the weather in MD has been horrible since I got them.

yes thats exactly right. a residential street which has two lanes of traffic going one way and no houses and parking lines for parking. that sure looks like a residential area to me.

I assume you are being sarcastic, so:
- at 0:41 of the video, that's not a big white house in the background when you appear to launch it after going around the corner?
- at 1:25, 1:44 of the video which one of you is going the wrong in this "two lanes of traffic going one way"
- at 2:33 there is a yellow...SLOW...pedestrian sign. Why is that there?
- from 3:32 on it's double yellow line.

We can see sidewalks which would mean there is the possibilty of pedestrians

You appear to be on the streets for most of this video.

You have an intake on the car? Or stock other than the HFC?

@SUBY sounds nice, what mods do you have besides the HFC?

spend the extra $ if you have it, you will be a lot happier trust me I was doing the same thing you are doing now about 3 months ago. I picked up a real nice sound from a real nice exhaust.

I have Stillen HFC's with stock exhaust and love it. I noticed some nice gains in performance and I love the sound. If you are light on the peddle the exhaust sounds very similar to stock, but with heavy gas or WOT there is definitely that deep growl...sounds nice in my opinion.
