So i got my car tuned by . . ( Updated ) !

hi fellas . . how ya doin . .

ummm . .
finally i got my car tuned by UpRev . . i found one amazing tuner who apparently knows his job very well . .

so i tuned ma car n everything went well . .

NOW . . i become crazy n obsessed about this idea . . That i may lose my tune in a way or another . . i become afraid whenever i take ma ride down to the dealer for a regular service . .

i really want to know . . is it possible that my dealer may ruin everything n reflash ma tune deliberately or by a chance ?

wud an updated software ruin or delete ma tune ?!
what is the importance of the software anyway ? i mean is it okay if i just asked them not to do it ?!

plz help me out . .

thx in advance . .

Edit :
ok . . i wud love to download the dyno sheet, but since i have no scanner, then i have to post up the numbers only .

here we go :

Before tune : 240 hp / 270 TQ
After tune : 266 hp/ 314 TQ

Gained : 26 HP ( on wheels )
Mustang Dyno.

NO need to remind you that mustang Dynamometer does show less numbers compared to other Dynos because of it's huge heavy wheels .

anyways, what it matters here is that i got 26 hp on wheels .

The tune will not be erased until the dealer specifically hooks upto your cars ECU and reflashes it with a stock tune. However, i dont see them ever doing this until they HAVE to, as is they avoid doing what they need to do let alone do something out of their required job.

And i would NEVER tell the dealer that i have reflashed my ECU with a tuner cause that can be enough for them to void your warranty on many parts of your car if the need arises citing the tune as being the culprit, but of course this is just my view.

^^^^^^^
ok forget about the warranty ( let's say i kno somebody there )
Now . . wud an updated software erases the tune ? ok . . i kno the reflash wud do, but wud an updated SW do that also ?

if it is so , then i can ask the guy not to do that , n i hope the software ( that they usually do ) is not necessary anyway . .

lets hear other views . .

sweet numbers thats why i have the cobb for this point so i dont have to worry about your concern takes 10 min to plug it back to stock tune. or when i valet the car i put in the valet tune cant rev past 2k or go get aligment w.e you turn your back for 2 mins its out the bay and attempting to rip through the parking lot. not here.

thats just me. but again nice numbers and mustang dynos are what i live by. i was kinda looking for your tq and hp numbers to be backwards but i guess your not awd so thats why.

Are you sure your torque numbers are right ??? Cause you got a **** load of torque there, 44 more torque after the tune damn I would be with that alone
