You can put your own redline and other information in and calculate whatever you want.

.

Gears are popular with the S2000 crowd. I was going to go that route but I decided against it because it just wasn't practical for what I was using the car for.

I found that gears are great for auto-x situations. Now if you could adjust the gears like in gran turismo then that would be great LOL.

I am curious to see how the G responds to this mod. As more owners do hopefully they will provide feedback. BTW are these gears made by a special company or do you guys just get them out of another manufacturers diff.

I know that for S2000 the 4.10 gears are straight out of a kia or a mazda. I think mazda makes them.

what gears should i use in an 03 5at coupe... these works as well.... dont know much bout gear ratios but tired of running high 8's in the 1/8th and dont have the cash to go FI yet... how much will these actually help... 0.5 secs maybe..so if i run a 13.8 now is it possible that these would get me to 13 flat area

it's not much of a difference, so i doubt it will have a big effect. You'll probably get worse gas mileage just because of how fun it is to push the go pedal.

P.S.

My exhaust is for sale here:

Here's the link to a retailer:

I wonder if/how this would work on a G35x? Any thoughts?

u could change the the diff on the X but you would also have to find a setup to make the same changes to the front tires. IE new transfer case gears or change the front diff.

The diff is out of a Miata... a lot of people shatter it trying to launch and bogging down

A lot of the s2k guys swap out the stock 4.1 for a 4.44 or 4.56... some of the crazier guys get a 4.77

highway cruising at 4200-4500 rpm... lol

of course it depends on if they have a F20C or F22C...
