'07 vs '08 Sedan Headunits

Can anyone tell me what the differences are with the 2? Does anyone know where the iPod cable hooks up to on the headunit?

It would be nice to retrofit the iPod cable into my '07 since I can't use the one that Everythingg35.com sells.

Thanks.

That sounds like the same thing offered from everythingg35.com.

That won't work since I have XM w/ Nav Traffic.

Anyone else?

It won't work at the same time as XM radio. The question is still out on what it will do to the XM nav traffic which is "always on" normally. I've yet to hear anyone specifically mention what will happen to the nav traffic feature.

Also, the new '08 ipod integration is much much more full featured than the older aftermarket one.

Eh, I let my Nav Traffic subscription expire.
In my area, it's absolutely useless.

I'd sit in parking lot traffic with a green road on my screen and I'd see car crash symbols on free flowing roads.

In some areas, it sucks.
In my area, it blows.

I can't say for sure, since I haven't tried that exact setup. However I have a Sirius tuner overriding the XM signal (which is pretty much all the ipod interface does) and the XM Nav traffic still works fine.

I would like this as well (if it's cheap).

Right now, I just use a $5 headphone to rca cable from Radio shack and hook up my ipod through the AUX inputs in the arm rest.

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this. Because I'd like to use my steering controls as well as have the use of the nav display for the Ipod.
