I've had my Fast Intentions HFC's installed for a few months now and I get more of a fine high pitched rattle now. I took it to a local shop and narrowed the sound to my heat shield at first. I took that off and it really helped. Now all I get is a buzzing sound. When we put it back on the lift we could definately see the sound coming from the flex joint.
Now I'm throwing a code from my cats. Does anyone know how to fix that? I took it too the dealership and they said it was because of the aftermarket cats.

thanks

No, transverse mounted engines are normally for front engine drive vehicles.

A transverse engine is an engine in which the crankshaft is oriented side-to-side relative to the length of the vehicle. This is also sometimes called an east-west engine. Most modern front wheel drive vehicles use this engine orientation (with the exception of some Audis), while most rear wheel drive vehicles use a front-to-back longitudinal arrangement.

Google the term "non foulers"

That's most likely your solution. But if you can tell us what the code is for exactly, we might be able to give you a better answer just in case this isn't the issue.

Thanks tonke, I found out that this hissing sound is coming from the Flex pipe, I wrapped a wet towel over it and it muffled out the sound pretty good. Should i just header wrap the joint? Also like i said earlier it said that flex joints are mainly for transverse mounted engines and since we established that our engines isn't transverse mounted and there doesn't seem to be much movement in the exhaust pipes would it be okay to cut these out?
