torque down wheel spacers? help please..

Hi Guys i just picked up a set of 20mm Hubcentric wheel spacers and my problem is when i go to torque down the spacer to the hub it moves around...it is easy to torque down wheels since you can tighten then lower to the ground then torque but with the spacers i cant seem to hold the rotor so it doesn't move and torque down the spacer at the same time....i hope this makes sense

and also i am really into cars but dont know jack about mechanics and how to properly do some things...any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Drew

You can DIY with a long bar.

Put two lug nuts on the studs to protect them (I like the tuner style for this)
The bar goes between two studs and onto the ground to hold while torquing.

i have a new set of wheels i wanna put on but the offsets are too high and i will need to run spacers to make it look good....however on my new wheels the hub does not have holes or spaces for the origional hub bolts to go...so they wont go on the whole way....what can i do?

is there another spacer i can use or am i screwed?

Thanks!

You can swap out your existing studs for longer ones and run the type of spacer w/no built-in studs. Similar to these http://www.ichibausa.com/g35i35.html
