Cheap Trunk Tie Downs

I got tired of stuff sliding around my trunk. I have the net at the trunk opening but it's not good for most things. I bought 4 1-in eye bolts, 1/4 in diameter thread. Pop out the plastic clips holding the liner in - there's two on each side, one high, one low. Use a screw driver to pry the center pin, not the whole clip. Pull the clip out, remove the plastic center pin (bend the clip parts out and pull it out) and put the clip (minus the center pin) back in the whole in the trunk liner. Thread the eye bolt into the clip. You need to use a screw driver to hold the clip from spinning while threading. Once all the way in, the eyes rotate but seem strong enough to anchor packages.

This isn't a great pic. I can try again Sat during the day. I put two on the other side, same locations. I can bungee between ones I installed and the ones for the cargo net as necessary.
