My understanding is he's at 100% production capacity, and is currently making parts and having them painted as quickly as possible.

He is working on getting new molds made to increase his production.

Just what I've heard through the grapevine.

^^ Under a grand?? Sucks to be in Cali....lol I got my front/back/sides/&grill prepped, painted and installed for 600.....lol Guess I just got good hookup. And yes, it is good quality paint, my place paints mercedes&bmws for all day long. But Ive heard Erics paint is right on, impressive indeed.

P.S. Im sure thats one of the only few reasons Cali sucks.....Not dawgin cali at all, I loved it there when I went.

If you lived closer to LA, I'd recommend R&J's autobody. They paint pieces at the same competitive price that eric's place charges.

Guniit, Question is.. should it really have to come to that? Should some one have not responded in so long that we actively have to "search" or "find" him? While I appreciate your concern for your friend's business, as well as you updating us, shouldn't he hold is credibility w/ the same fortitude? What I mean by that is, doesn't he at some point in the day, or days that this thread has been going, have time to update it once? I'm sure you mentioned to him this thread existed in order to get the statuses to give us. I don't think anyone would consider his time wasted to see him actively trying to regain faith in is customer service.

And I for one have been calling and leaving daily voice mails on both his listed and unlisted number (he gave it to me on IM instead of just leaving the status of my order).. But he's not answering that number either.

I truly understand supply and demand, however, I don't understand how customer service can be negated and a business can still expect to have the same demand. That to me is perplexing. NO ONE is THAT good.. And considering that these are luxuries and pieces that most of us will buy one time more than likely, our customer experience should be held w/ more regard. It would be more probable that he'd receive referrals that way and increase his customer base. When the large amounts of money that we have all paid are involved, certain levels of communication are expected since these in our minds, are thought of as investments.

While I can empathize with your position of not having a car at all and I'm simply "waiting for my parts," it is comparably frustrating.. Maybe even more so since you have the luxury of talking to him and seeing the status of your parts personally. Unfortunately, we all don't have that luxury.

GUniiT, please don't take this as any kind of repremand or slap on the wrist, nor do I intend to tell Eric how to run his business, I'm just expressing my point of view as everyone else and doing the best I can to remain patient..

NOTE: My order was a Painted Modded K2 Front, and Painted Impul sides.. Those parts were supposedly painted and ready to go before I ordered my CS rear, which was to not be painted (was ordered after he stopped taking painted orders).. He gave himself approximately 3 weeks to make and ship the complete order. That's where April 23 as a shipping date came from for me. If all my other parts were painted and ready, and all he had to do was make one more piece and then ship the whole order, why has it been over a week since my ship date? That's all I've been after.. Has my order shipped, and if not, when will it?

I have no choice but to continue waiting.. I want the product, I've paid for the product, and from what I know, he's made the product.. I'm not going to stiff him for the work he's done by cancelling my order.. I figure I've waited this long, what's a few more days..

Feb 23-May 2 and counting.....

UPDATE

I got my CS rear that was supposed to ship on 4/23.. (by the shipping slip, it shipped on 4/29, but I'm not trippin on that..)

However that's ALL I got.. I didn't recieve my painted modded K2 Front, nor my painted Impul sides.. They were supposedly done previous to my CS rear even being ordered.. The whole point for me waiting since Feb was to receive it all together and save on shipping cost. Now I'm sitting w/ a rear bumper that needs to be painted and can't get in contact w/ him on the other parts...

DUDE.. Please call me.. IM me, PM me.. SOMETHING..

looked at the tracking number.. There's no other boxes coming from what I can tell, and there's only the one item on the packing slip as well.. Unfortunately.. this is all that was sent...

To wait THIS long and the SHIPMENT be wrong (the EASIEST part) is VERY disconcerting..

I called my credit card company and told them to cancel that transaction. I told them I have not recieved the product and can not get hold of the vendor.

I understand Erick makes great products, everyone hear swears by them, but this is getting a little ridiculas in my mind. This thread has been open for weeks and your telling me he does not check it?? If you care about your customers and your business then HE should be responding and not his friends. I agree with Blues, I will pay more for a product if I dont have to deal with this. Let me tell you about customer service when I ordered my fast intention exhaust, Tony told me there was going to be a long wait upfront. I would still call him every week and he would always answer my call or call back and give me an update. He called him the day he was going to make my exhaust and then called me when he shipped it out. I can see why his exhausts are priced the way they are. That left an awesome impression in my mind and I have no doubt that I will always recommend him and buy from him in the future.

Theres no point on talking about this over and over. Good luck to those who are still waiting.
