This thread should probably be declared a forum historical landmark.

They still have orders out. I'd bet some posts will still pop up about experiences for a while yet.

damn..... I dont feel sorry one bit....

in the end.. KARMA is a biach... even if its years later....

Comes to show how important it is to simply try and actually help the customer before you help yourself and keep business going, At times profit in volume is better than just raping everyone and nickel and dime customers...

sorry to hear that this happened to you Lawrence... I wish you the best with your business.. and Happy Strafing to you...

how does it feel to get Strafed?

OP- I hope you get your FULL refund if not just call the BBB and have a nice chat with them

BBB sucks sack..they won't do a thing. Best course of action for this type of dispute with any vendor is chargeback through your bank.

Well .. it hasn't even been a day and Strafe is already back. I guess they will be using a different name.

Good Luck to Dustin.. Hope it works out for them...

Don't undercut bbb. Was in a scrape with Alienware over about 2500 bucks for coming on to 11 months. Hours on the phone- pages and pages (33) of email and associated forum stuff- lie after lie. Got bbb involved, the next day an executive support dude from dell contacted me- cheque is in the mail in less than 2 weeks.

From now on that is my FIRST course of action- not my last.

And no offense to the mods- I mean business is business- but this happened 2 years too late. It's like slamming the gate after the horse runs out.

Glad something came of it and Tyler may not have caused this but being the last nail on the coffin doesn't hurt either.

I think the last nail in the coffin was Strafe being Strafe and trying to make anyone but themselves look bad. They started talking about other vendors. Clearly a big no no.
