Has anyone done business with Speednet Motor?T

They are currently advertising rotors and brake pads. Since they joined recently, I wanted to doublecheck.

Thanks.

They are a forum sponsor, it costs a bit of money to become a forum sponsor so id think they are ok.

Cough cough- wasn't strafe a forum sponsor?

Good of you to look into them op- if they're new here these may not be the forums. Perhaps they are active in other communities? If you deal with them make sure to post some feedback!

^ I found them on some bmw forums and so far I have yet to find any negative reviews. I am about to call them today to see about ordering some stuff.

Glad to finally have some feed back on them. Any comment on the quality of the rotors? I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the complete brake package.

We didn't have that great of an experience with them....

To sum it up- slow to ship, sent wrong item, never answered phone calls but would text right after the phone stopped ringing.

I will edit this post in a little once I get home and expand on it.

Shipped wrong part

I just has a similar experience as 91ZCpe.

I ordered 4 slotted rotors and pads. The forum add said "ready to ship".

Here is the timeline from Google Wallet:

Sep 28 You placed an order with SpeedNet Motor on Sep 28
Sep 28 SpeedNet Motor received your order.
Sep 28 SpeedNet Motor charged your VISA
After I called, left a message and sent an IM.
Oct 5 SpeedNet Motor shipped your order.

1 week to package and ship, not the end of the world.

I live in Canada, so I had the package delivered to a US address near the border. I finally went to pickup this week. Packaging was ok, cardboard boxes with styrofoam peanuts....

Once I opened the boxes I saw that they shipped the wrong rotors , I ordered slotted only, they sent slotted and drilled...

I just Im'ed to see what they will do.

BTW The website no longer exists...
