I probably won't hit up the actual convention, but BMW Sauber will be holding a Pit Lane Park exhibition on January 9th and 10th for the general public. Since the Las Vegas Grand Prix isn't coming back this year (Champ Car) this will be the only open wheel action I'll see until 2009, so I'll be pulling my son out of school both days. Anybody else interested?

 

Perhaps, I've been to vegas for CES for the last 6 years and I don't plan to miss it this year :-D

I always thought ces was like sema you had to be a affilated with a business

 

If you want to go inside then you do. This, however, is a Formula 1 exhibition outside of the convention center.

No you really don't... You sign up with no verification, and to pick up your badge holder all you have to do is show up and give them business ID. I've got friends who go and pick up printable business cards the day before and print out their names on a card with the cheesiest microsoft word template they can find. Not once have they ever been questioned.

Or just use your real business card. There is a TON of car tech there, they let car guys in, or just check a box when you register that you consult on servers for you company. All companies (as far as they are concerned) have atleast 1 IT guy, you just have to check the box on the form that you are that IT guy.

I don't see anywhere the details about your exhibit. I will definitely be stopping by your booth and probably stop to shake your hand when I see ya! (What's the name and company?). Also I imagine that you'll be in the south hall, what's the booth number and company there? I bring some of my photo equipment and lord knows I'll be taking some serious photos of any G I see
