Randy,
Masking tape is used to cover, or protect if you will, key areas of the car from potential rock chips ... either from the unintended off-road excursions or being flicked by the rear-tires of the car in-front of you at the track. Most people also use them as make-shift car numbers.

The reason for *Painter's* masking tape is because the adhesive used is realtively mild and does not leave an ungly mess behind at the end of the day. You can buy them in bulk for dirt cheap at Costco, but they only come in 'WTF' blue. That may be great if you happen to drive a CB G35. I have been looking for white/ivory ones instead and haven't have much luck. Arash is suppose to be rocking some Hot Pink ones and it is my intension to hold him to it ... hehe!

CLINT HA HA did you get my text message? I went to Dunn Edwards to get the painters tape. THEY FRIGGIN dont have any color besides blue, and orange. I remember i was going to get Pink well decided to get orange. HA HA its a notice to anyone in front of me to pull over because the mad Persian is coming after you. HA HA HA
