Re: LABOR DAY CRUISE UPDATE AUG 11, 03

rstark,

If I am not mistaken, it will be more of an early dinner. We are planning to end at Infiniti around 4 ish and food will be provided. What we have yet to decide though, is should we cook or cater. Personally I would lean to the catering side only because of the time and potential amount of people that might be coming in. We are expecting an amount of 350Z owners to be there as well.

Like CBR600RR has asked, could all that plan on attending, please send over a rough head count so that nobody starves out there and we dont have to go and do a Zippy's run.

Thanks to all.

Agreed. The catering path might be the better way to go. Only because by the time the cruise is done, I would be hungry and waiting for the food might be rough.

As far as the RSVP,...uhmmmmm,..CBR600RR,...I will be coming. LOL.

Anyhow, yes, due to liabilities, please NO ALCOHOLIC beverages.

Drive safely,.....and let us know please.

Thanks

Is there going to be a cost for lunch?

Also, does anyone belong to a club that provides insurance for social events so that the organizers and its participants cannot be held liable for any mishaps? I had this for the S2000 cruises (provided by the S2000 Club of America), and although we never had any mishaps, it gave me (the organizer) and the participants a peace of mind. Note that it does not replace driver's car insurance, just added protection for the entire group.

No, there will not be a cost to lunch.

As far as a club organization,...I do not think that there is an organization for Infiniti per se. So to answer your question bluntly, everybody has to be careful and carry their own insurance. To be honest, never knew such policies were around. However, unless there is a policy on the Z clubs that covers Infiniti owners as well,...like I mentioned, everybody needs to be careful of what they are doing. Good point though. Just I do not think that it exists for the Infiniti owners as of yet.

FYI. Things are moving ahead for the cruise on the 31st. Looks like there are going to be a few Z's coming out. What about the G's??

Food will be provided, as well as drinks.

Hope to see everyone there.
