And if you search you will find, I purchased used 4 winter tires with 4 OEM 18s for under $600. And you can find same deals for the summer tires, since I bought 4 used rear michelins for the summer for under $300. Good luck everyone, have fun and be smart and safe.

Come on, I said IN QUEBEC CANADA, Blizzack lm22 in 18 inches size around here cost around 500$ a piece + taxessss in canadian money$$$
We get -30 degrees celsius regulary around here with snow drop that can reach 12 inches overnight during winter.
I do not recommend using this type of setup in my region, even with that amount of money in tires car cannot climb steep entrance because tires are so wide they get full of snow, loose grip and then VDC kick's in and stop car movement.
The point is what is YOUR definition of snow.
Next year I go with a set of 17 inches rims that clear the brembo to get a higher tire profile and narrower tire to slice through snow.
I am looking to buy a set from the US but the shipping is killing the deal...
(BTW, I speek french, sorry if my english look's strange to you...)

i kept the original 19s as my summer setup and picked up 17s with snow tires for the winter setup. 4 rims and 4 tires including cost of mounting cost me $1000.
with our cars you are better of with a winter setup, the rear wheel drive in the snow can be scary...
btw i got the above deal from tirerack.com
