Wheel width issue

Its hard to find wheels that are in the 8" Front / 8.5" Rear setup. If I am forced to use 8.5" all around or 8" Front / 9" Rear, is that a problem? Obviously, I would need to stagger the tire width to satisfy this, but will the wheel width be a serious problem?

It is not necessarily a problem at all. I am running 9.5"front and 10.5" rears on my track set up, with 275F and 315R treadwidths for the tires.
However a key element will be the offsets that the wheels have, so that you do not wind up rubbing the inside of the tires on the suspension, or the outside on the fender wells. Use a wheel sizing program at a place like TireRack to help you out with the selection. to the extent possible, try to use a combination that maintains the same wheel and tire overall diameter/circumference of your stock set up, so as to not impair accuracy of your speedometer/odometer and your vdc.

Eagle1 what offset are you running?
Any problems rubbing on the inside of the wheel well? Assuming you have a g35 coupe.
