Hey I've been talkin to people cuz im researching some snow tires and it seems that you should go with a staggered fitment. Something about screwing with the ratios or some junk... call tirerack or something and they'll explain it to you!

did you have to roll your fenders to fit the 285's in the rear?

Can someone explain how to post the thumbnails or just regular photos. I don't know how to do it on forums. Usually they just have a attatchment button but this one doesn't. Or it asks for a URL and I don't know much about setting those up.

When you post a reply, scroll down to the part that says advanced or manage attachments....click on the manage attachment button and then browse for the pic you want to upload from your computer.....

If you have them in photobucket etc, then you can copy the url and paste it in your reply.......

Most people like to keep the tires staggered for better handling....For my Winter tire setup, I decided to go with the same size front and rear......I kept it within the 3% of the stock diameters....and I had no problems with the VDC activating.....and since I did alot of mileage each month, it gave me the opportunity to rotate the snows each year....

hope this helps you.........

Stock rims?

255's in the rear, possible, but dont be surpriced in you run into trouble.

255's on the front is a definate no. Well, I atleast wouldnt recommend it.

Also, why arent you looking for a staggered setup?

.
