Update wheel fixed (pic inside) Can this be fixed?

Well I let my girlfriend/wifey drive the car the other day, and when she came back from Whataburger guess what happened...


How can i get this fixed???

what type of lip is that? if it's anodized, it will never be the same.

They can polish it out, but it'll strip the anodizing and leave bare metal you will have to keep up with

i think clear coating it will help, but it'll never be the same...

haha the g/f is soon to be wifey. And I told her this will cost her another set of wheels. She said Ok, but it will probably be a while before I can get a new set. Anyway, some mobile wheel repair unit is supposed to check out the wheel today and find out if it can be fixed. They said yes, but we'll see.

So the lip on Racing Hart wheels is anodized or clear coated??

Well I called a mobile wheel repair unit and they fixed my wheel. Looks awesome except, like some of you mentioned, there is no clear coat on the piece they fixed and you can see a small line where the clear ends and the metal is exposed... unoticable to the common eye but I know its there... anyway, here is a pic of the job...


I just noticed that on the pics you really cant tell where the line is at due to the sun and crappy phone camera. I will try and get better pics later on.
