If I have an 04 sedan with stock 17s on right now, and I put a pair of oem 19s on, will I need spacers? What size and how much will they cost?

 

you dont need spacers but you could use them (you may rub in the rear) im not sure about the size but H&R is a good brand

 

u can go to H&R webside and they have the detail specs on it. Make sure u get the hub-centric spacers like H&R, not the crappy cheap ones.

 

no spacer is needed for OEM 19s. Its 33 offset 8.5 inch wheel. U just need to shave/roll ur fenders.

 

Will that cost extra to do during the installation?

 

Are you lowered or on stock suspension? If you are not lowered then you shouldn't have any rubbing issues in the rear.

Regarding the cost to roll your fenders, I'm running Coupe 19s as well and will be dropping my car in the next two weeks. I was quoted $40 per side, so $80 total. For those of you that have had this done, does that cost sound about right?

 

It does NOT matter if he is lowered or not. The springs compress enough to rub.

As far as the price go, I payed $50 for both of them. They shaved it though.

 

Really, all of the other posts I've read on this subject suggest that if you are on stock suspension then you shouldn't have any issues rubbing. I'm not lowered (yet) and I've had 4 adults in my car with no rubbing issues.

 

that is wierd, because when my fenders were not shaved and i was on stock sport suspension, it would rub when i would take a corner with only 1 person in the back. A lot of times i did NOT hear it because it is very minor. My friend told me once and i payed attention and heard that it was rubbing.

Where did you get your fenders shaved? How did you decide to shave vs. rolling?

 

Did not see the point of rolling because the climate does NOT get below freezing in socal so they is no rusting issues.

IMO, roll>shave. You can DIY also, its not that hard, look in the DIY section
