is it ok to have to different tires on your car.

i have g-force tires on my oem 18 and need to replace the rears, but i can get a really good deal on a pair of pirelli p zero 245/45/zr18. would it be ok to have the p zero's in the back and the g-force in the front? i dont want to mess up my car but i hear the p zeros have alot of grip. any thoughts?

even if you put all 4 Pirelli tires on your car, you'd be messing it up... Pirelli's quality is crap, they're just another brand name.
PM me how much you're paying for the Pirelli's and i'll do my best to find you a better deal, or a better set of tires for a little more money.

the real answer is it depends. Some cars have no issues while others have issues with VDC. It depends on how closely the grip of the two tires are compared to one another

If the tires are p-zero neros don't. I have them on my car and can't wait to wear them out. Sidewalls are to soft. I tried to counter that by running 38 psi in them and now the middle tread band has worn. The Bridgestones never had that problem even at that psi. I will be lucky to get 12K mile out of these. Also the they aren't that sticky. I can break mine loose on dry pavement with out flooring the car. Very annoying when trying to hurry cause then vdc kicks in. And these are the summer only with the Y speed rating. No more pirellis for me.

switch to federal 595ss, best tire ever and so cheap. If you want to try and break some axles go to 595rs almost as good as re01r for way cheaper.
