wheel fitment help

Hi

Hopefully someone can help out. I have a 2004 G35x and my friend has a set of 2003 350z Track wheel. I like the wheels but I need to know if the wheels will fit given the size and offset. I think the front are 18 by 8 with 30 offset and the rears are 18 by 8.5 with 28 offset. I am planning on using 235/45/18 tires. Will these difference affect the all wheel drive system? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I dont know if this helps, but for a staggered setup on the RWD Sedan:

19x8.5" in front with a 35-40 offset (38 is optimal), and 19x9.5" in rear
with 40-48 offset (45 is optimal).

Done with SEARCH.

I've seen plenty of track wheels on RWD sedans, but I don't know about AWD. I would assume they would fit, if not, you could just add some spacers to make them fit.

I read somewhere that you shouldn't run staggered setup on the 'x' because of the AWD....

I would say that the tire height would have more to do with AWD than anything else. If he has the same size tire all the way around, it shouldn't affect it (I think).

There has been a debate wether if staggered will work with the awd. So far 3 people I know of are running staggered on their car. As long as the wheels are close in diameter its not messing with it. So since you are going to run a 235/45/18 all around its the same diameter. I would try for a 245/40 or 245/45 more tire choices. Also I believe the rears are a 18x8.5 with a 33 offset. Also no space are required. Good luck and dont forget to post pic when you get them on.

as far as fitment goes, i have that setup on my rwd and it doesnt really have an issue with fitment. I am running 245/40/18 rear and 225/40/18 and it doesnt rub while dropped on z springs. i did roll my fenders for additional clearance. what you need to worry about is your AWD system. You can pull the fuse and run stagger, or as others have said, just run same size tires all around and hope it works. the rearsa re 18x8.5 +33 offset not +28. I hope this helps.

Get 2 sets of rear wheels and run the 18x8.5 +33 all around with a 235/35 tire or a 245/35.

Thanks for the great response. you guys are awesome. I think i'll be using the same size tire. I was thinking about 235/45/18 but if 245/45 works, I'll look at the different brands out there

235/35 or 245/35 that sidewall would be way too small, and his speedo would probably be way off. As for all rears, yeah you could do that. But you would have to find 2 front/rear set since it would be hard to find all rears.
