Probably beat to death...but..sedan offset?

I've got a line on some tight 20x8.5 with a 34mm offset...will these work on my 05 G35x? its probably been assked a thousand times but I just can't grasp the concept of how offset works without racking my brain too hard...a 34mm offset sticks out further than say...a 30mm offset correct? so with a 34mm...spacers wont help me...I think

the lower the offset, the further the wheel sticks out.

for an 8.5" wheel with a 245 tire you can use an offset anywhere from 30-45 and it will fit. The lower the number, the more flush it will sit.

so I should be ok with a 34mm offset and a 2 inch drop and camber kit? or will I have to leave the negative camber to clear the wheel wells?

With a 2" drop, you should still be able to get back to -1.0 camber with that setup.

with a 2" drop you gonna have rubbing issues you might have to get your fenders rolled.

I'm gonna go with a 38 or 40mm offset just to be on the safer side.
