sedans with m45 wheels, input please!

i have a 2004 G35x, dropped it on H&R sport springs. got the m45 wheels, threw on 20mm spacers and called it a day. i noticed there's like a line going all around the tire now, front and rear. am i rubbing? with the 20mm spacers, it puts me at +30... are my spacers too big? i don't have a camber kit or anything, so perhaps i need that to avoid this line?

anyone else have a sedan, with m45 wheels and can share some of their experience with this? any rubbing? what size spacers are you on? camber kits, etc?

thanks a lot!

I have 5 mm spacers up front, nothing in the rear, and I've never seen lines, no scrubbing, or anything.

Sorry, not much of a help...

When you say a "line going round the tire" what do you mean? Is it on the side wall or on the tread area. If it's on the inside tread area and you have a drop, it's a camber issue. If it's a line on the side wall inside, it's a rubbing issue (I doubt it with those big spacers), if it's on the outside side wall, it's rubbing on the fender. I don't know about the X, it has a little different specs than the RWD.

its on the wall area, but i don't think its rubbing either.. not sure what it is though. front and rear tires. i'll take a picture of it and post it later on today, perhaps that'll help diagnose the problem

I think the rear you might have to roll, when I had my 20x8.5 +40 with a 10mm spacer on, I rubbed.

i'm dropped on H&R's w/M 19's... i'm runnin' 15mm spacers all around and the SPC camber & toe kit w/no issues. only thing is there is very little clearence between the front inner-tire wall and the lower suspenssion arm, when i got my spacers installed they where like, "hey, that's not safe it's gonna rub" BUT the guy i got the wheels & spacers from was runnin' the same setup, so i went for it. BTW, i'm runnin' stock M fitment tires.

hmm, i'm dropped on H&R springs too, with the stock M45 tires as well (245/40/19), BUT with 20mm spacers.. hmm

i don't have a camber kit or anything though. i'm thinking i need that. i'll still take pictures of what i'm talking about and post it up after work. by the way, how much was the camber/toe kit? also, do you have a g35x, or RWD?

i ran w/o a camber kit for like a month and i still didn't rub or anything, i got the kit to save my tires some wear. you know how $$$ 19's are. i forget how much the SPC costed, it was the most affordable(next to the Kinetix). if ya go w/the SPC kit, make sure ya re-use the OEM bolts up front. oh, and i'm RWD... if ya wanna see some pics of my setup then click the link in my sig.
