How do you replace the wheels?
Hi,
I am fairly new to the car maintenance/modding game and I was wondering what one has to do to remove wheels and replace them with new ones. I am upgrading my rims and I want to do this myself. Obviously one loosens the lug nuts and replaces the rims, however are there any special considerations to take into account for TPMS etc.?
Thanks!

the tpms are stuck on the inside of the OEM rims so in order to remove them, you'll need to take all four tires off, remove the sensors and attach them to the new set of rims. it sounded like such a hassle i just left them in there when i sold my OEM rims to someone else.
as long as the tire pressure sensors can fit with your new wheels, it'll only take about 20 minutes for a competent shop to install them for you. they shouldn't need to rebalance the wheels either as long as they don't remove the tire.
Just to be clear, are you removing OEM 18s so you can install OEM 19s? If that is the case, its a straight swap.
Don't mess around with spacers until you've gotten more comfortable with your car & offsets.
