Can I buy tires two at a time???
Hi... I posted elsewhere here recently about my search for tires to replace the Bridgestone Potenza's that came on the car new... I have settled (I think) on trying Kumho Ecsta spt's... My rear tires are close to needing to be replaced but my front tires still look like they could go another 10,000 miles... Will the car operate ok (VDC, etc) if I first buy two Kumho's for the rear (stock size) and keep running the Bridgestone's on the front??? My reason for wanting to do so is two fold... First, 10,000 good miles left on the front tires isn't chump change to throw away... And second, it might give me the chance to see if the Kumho's are decent tires or not.... Grnated, still having the Bridgestones on the front I won't be able to learn everything you would want to know about the Kumhos but still I think I could learn something... Like if the ride is better or worse after changing two tires, then you'd learn something about those two new tires... Maybe...
Anyway, will the VDC work ok with different brands, amount of tread and tread patterns front versus back??? Any help would be much appreciated... thanks... bob...
