Anyone Try These Camber Arms?

Re: Anyone Try These Camber Arms?
OK, add me to the list. Just ordered the Camber Arms from Kinetix and the Toe Cams from IAP Direct. The guy at IAP said they're getting lots of calls. I hope to have these on by my next autocross on 6/6. I'll keep you updated.

Re: Anyone Try These Camber Arms?
It depends on how much you lower it and if getting it back into spec (either max or nominal) is what you need.
Some people with less than an 1" of drop have been able to get their alignment back into spec, usually around the max specs. Some people haven't. The stock adjustments are minimal in the rear and less, if not 0 adjustment in the front.
If you track it, then the negative camber (if you look at the wheels from behind, they'll look like this / \ ) from the lowering is a good thing. However, it comes at the expense of wearing out the inner part of the tire much quicker than the outer which will lead to uneven wear.
A camber/toe rod will allow you a much greater range of adjustment. You can get it back to nominal or set it with negative camber on purpose for better handling (at the expense of uneven tire wear.) Hope this helps.

Re: Anyone Try These Camber Arms?
al503... i was using the TEIN S-Tech coils... I understand everything about having negative camber and alignments, just not familiar with the suspension geometry of the G35, so I didn't know what all was needed to align the vehicle.
I hear Kinetix, then i see this post, then someone else says something else, so I was just looking for someone to say "you need to buy this and that" and call it a day, lol.
Help?
