Question Bodyshop Putting On 245/35/19 Pirelli All-Seasons: What to Do About Rear Tires?

My bodyshop is replacing my front tires with some Pirelli P-Zero Nero all-season tires in 245/35/19 the size I requested. Now I absolutely LOVE these tires I've had them on previous vehicles but I noticed that the Pirelli's are not made in the 255/35/19 size the typical recommended tire size for the rear.

So I can either run 245/35/19 in the rear just like the front in the same exact brand and tire, or I can go extreme and run 275/30/19 but I think this would be a little stupid looking since I already have 20mm spacer in the rear and the wheel is only 8.5" wide.

I really want to try avoid mixing up tire brands if possible, but I'm shocked Pirelli P-Zero Nero M&S is not even made in 245/40/19.

Advice?

You should be looking for 255/40/19 rear. Do not under any circumstances run a 275 in the rear

But with the Pireli P-Zero Nero M&S they do not offer that tire in the 255/40/19 size or the 255/35/19 size. Is it a bad idea to run a different brand front and rear? I was always told that it would negatively affect the handling that's the only reason I'm hesitant. Is 245/35/19 a bad idea to run in the rear?

why not run a different brand of tire then? There are other all-season tires made in the correct sizes front and rear

Oh, yeah I know and that's kind of my question, sorry for the confusion. I was thinking about running 255/35/19 Michelin Pilot all-season tires in the rear or is there a reason to go with 255/40/19 tires? I was trying to stay consistent with 35 series front and rear.

I would run the michelins all around, and you should run the 255/40/19 since its much closer to the OEM diameter than the 255/35/19

I agree but unfortunately it's too late now and there's nothing that I can do about it. I have 245/35 Pirelli P-Zero Nero M&S tires up front going on and I need to pick up some all-season rear tires I'm thinking 255/40/19 most likely at this point.

Sorry if I am hijacking the thread but have the exact same issue

I have a 2006 G35 Coupe (6MT) all factory options including RAS. My stock tires on the 19" are almost done (BridgeStones).

I was considering plus sizing since I am looking at Michelin Pilot Sport AS as well.

Stock tires F 225/40/19 R 245/20/19

The only size they have the tire I want in that I can think of would work is

F 245/35/19 R 255/35/19

Can I have change the rear to 255/40/19 (that would make the diameter diff between front and ear too much. How important is the origional staggered ratio? Should I really try to find tires in the 235/40/19 (F) 255/40/19 (R)

So confused... I have tried all kinds of caculators on line.

OP - DId you get a chance to have your tires put on? How are they workin out?

Any advice would be great !

THANKS...
