I have them on my car in the summer time great tires, in winter they suck. I would get Vredestein Next tho sick tires for the price.

+1 on Vredesteins. Heard nothing but good things about them.

As far as their winter performance goes, they aren't supposed to do well in the winter. They are "High-Performance Summer Tires". If you are looking for winter tires then buy a set of all-seasons.

As far as the Kumho's go, they are a great tire especially considering the price. And as far as "which one's better"? There really isn't an answer to that one. Different people will say different things. You won't be disappointed with either the Kumhos or Vredsteins. Also check out the Falken FK452.

i have owned both and ran 20s with em...and i will tell you from experience...
The Kumho SPT are good for the first few thousand miles and after that(about 4000 miles), the road noise is very excessive...I currently have the vredestein ultrac sessentas and are very very quiet after about 7000 miles and grips very good...so spend a little extra and go for the vredesteins...GL
