Thanks.
Shouldn't be an issue all around. Will fit the wheels and car fine

If I buy tires with a warranty from you and the tire is damaged beyond repair; do you pay for the mounting and balancing or am I responsible?

Been a great bang for the buck tire so far. Tested well and for the money really delivers. Good wet, not too noisy, etc. I'd say better than Sumitomo's and Kumhos of the same class.

Hi Neal,

My OEM rears on my 2008 G35s are in need of replacement (16k miles). The fronts are looking ok. I'm a spirited driver that travels both city and highway, about half-n-half. I'm in Atlanta, GA (30076) so I get both sun and LOTS of rain (lately) with very little snow though temps in the winter can get below 30. Should I stick with the summer tires and replace only the rears or go All Season? I don't mind replacing all 4 if needed. I would like a little more wear.

Give me some recommendations (looked at BS RE960AS and Kumho Ecsta LX Plat.).

Thanks

Typically all season tires have a bit deeper tread depth and more void for water and such to escape verses a summer only tire. Summers focus more on dry handling and steering response, not as much on wet traction or wear. If you're not a super aggressive driver I'd use a more versatile all season.

Wouldn't mix the classes of tires, that will cause a bad split front/rear in how the car handles. Best to keep all the same all around.

Of the 960 and the LX.... both great tires just in different ways. The 960 is more sport based and can handle more abuse. The LX is touring based and designed around longevity, and ride more than spirited handling. For the driving style you mentioned I'd recommend the 960.

hey Neal - I am having the replace the fronts on my car and I'm putting on Kumho SPTs. Do you see a problem running those up front with Toyo Proxes t1R's in the rear?

Not familiar with Toyo as we don't carry them but never really a good idea to mix/match brands.

Hey Neal,
I have stock g35 17' rims for a 2007 2 gen. I have the Eagle RS-A 225/55R17 on all 4. Can i go wider on the stock rims? Also what tires are recommended? I live in Vegas and have little bit of rain sometimes. But in the winter it gets cold to around 30 to 28. And i am more of an aggressive driver.

Only other size we've seen on the oe wheels is 245/50-17. Not many optoins in that size, however. I would stick with the 225 for the best selection.

Good all around mild sport all season would be Bridgestone's G019 Grid. Good life, ride, wet traction, etc. Can also handle some aggressive driving. The G-Year Eagle GT is also a top tire to look at. Both are pretty solid performers that won't break the bank.
