Question for you Blaine....getting a set of Work Gnosis hs202's 20/9.5 +10 and 20/10.5 +5....i'm lowered on megan street coils and tryin to figure out the best tire setup up to go with...setup is a tad bit more aggressive than what i have now but want to keep the flushness without excessive camber (as close to stock specs as possible)
Was thinking of running vossen cv3's but I would rather run 10.5 all around for the look I'm going for. Ur saying its possible but any offset suggestions? Possible issues or mods? I'm on a budget but I might go for a deep dish front and back also. Would it be easier to fit a 10" wide in front vs. 10.5? Tire size suggestions? Haha too many questions from an undecided fool! Thanks for any feedback
Yeah I know I know. I like the deep concave look but would only want to run it all around and deep dish would be sick but most nice/quality wheels are fairly high priced. Anyway still I would like to fit a 10/10.5 front...specs?
Hey,
I'm looking at a set of Rays Gram Lights57 maximum 18x9.5 +12mm that are available locally, I have an 05 coupe (no bbk/brembo) lowered on swift springs no spring mount mod. I'm trying to figure out if these would fit without issues, I'd prefer to keep camber within stock tolerances. I guess my biggest fear is that these would stick out past the front fender more than I'd like? I'm not worried about the setup being square, these tires are wider than the stock 17s on my car anyways.

Hey Wheel Gurus,
I'm looking to buy a nice set of wheels for my 07 Coupe. I came across a nice set of SSR's being sold locally that I am very interested in - I'm just not 100% sure fitment will be good enough. I'm looking for something more aggressive than stock - but also not looking to have crazy stretch and poke either... My G is currently stock but will be lowered on Tein Coilovers in the next couple months. (~1" rear and ~1.5" front).
Here are the specs of the wheels I'm considering buying:
19x9 +31 with 225/35
19x10 +24 with 245/35
The wheels are coming off an IS350. The bolt pattern matches.
My questions are:
1. How will fitment be? I'm thinking I'll probably need spacers to make it look better - but what sizes?
2. I'll probably take the 245s off the back wheels and put them on the fronts. What is the biggest/safest size I should run on the rears?
3. Any other specs or things I should be taking into consideration? (ex. Center bore?!)
One of the main reasons why I'm posting up is being my car is in storage and so I cannot do a test fit at the moment - I'm also worried that if I wait too long the wheels may sell...

Pretty decent specs and great choice in wheels!
You WILL have room for some spacers but you may not feel like you need them, but after a while a 10 or 15 out back would be nice and a 20-25 up front would be solid. All your discretion.
Putting the 245s on the front is perfect and would match best with a 275/30 rear tire. I wouldn't stray too far away from that size as you want to keep them close in overall diameter. Later down the road a 255/35 and 285/30 might be more suitable.
Center bore is always a good thing to consider and rarely anyone ever thinks of it. In this case lexus does use a smaller hub bore than our cars (56.1 vs 66.1) BUT as far as I know, SSR doesn't drill custom hub bores and I believe they are all 72mm. However if these are too small they can always be bored out at a machine shop for around $100 (all four)
Other than that, you should be good. Feel free to ask anything else.
Ok so my only option now is to rebarrel the whole rim right? If I were to get 5 inch inner barrels and 5 inch lips this will be a 20x10 with a. +0 offset right? That would be for the fronts. And for the rears if i wanted 5 inch inner barrels and 6 inch lip, what offset would this be put at? 20x11, at a high negative or low negative? And 4dgs, I will most likely not be assembling these myself just going to order the parts and have a shop do it, because if i did I'm pretty sure the wheels would break in half while driving lol.
Say a set of Weds, they are lip to barrel and a thick bead of silicone is run between them. Both lip and barrel have a flange to drop the wheel into and then the hardware slides through bolting the face, lip and barrel together. The silicone prevents air from leaking through the center of the wheel. But there are multiple way to build a 3 piece wheel. For example, work equips are a sandwich face instead of both lip and barrel having a flange, the wheel sits between the lip and barrel and then needs to be siliconed shut and bolted together.

You won't have an issues with these, the 9.5/10.5 stagger has been done multiple times with the +12 offset. You'll actually want a spacer out back to compensate for the square set up.
thanks for the help 4DGS! Would I be able to run a conservative tire setup on these wheels? Trying to avoid stretching/poke, From my forum digging it looks as if I would be ok, but its like pulling teeth trying to find out suspension setups to make sure mine is compatible.
225/35 up front is the smallest you should go and 235/35 out back is a mild stretch on a 9.5.

You should be fine with a 265/35 square set up.
Camber specs are -1.1º on the fronts and -1.3º on the rears.
I should be able to fit slightly meatier tires on the back if I wanted right (although this would probably just further the dodge neon look of the uneven drop)? Doesn't running identical diameters front and back mess with the VDC?
EDIT: any reason to not got for a 265/40? It seems closer to factory spec according to online size calculators

I would like to get spacers for my aftermarket wheels to give it a more aggressive look but not really that "hella flush" look that you need to slam the car to get them in the wheel well. Any idea on the thickness I would need?
Here are the specs on my Volk Racing wheels:
F - 19x8.5 21mm
R - 19x10.5 23mm
I'm going for this look

Tire advice
Hello
I'm driving a 2003 coupe and it's time for new tires, I have Goddyear Eagle F1s now and I'm looking for advice on the best tire out there on the market. I'm running OEM sizes front and back.
Any suggestions?
