To poke you'll need to run smaller tires than 255/40.

If you want to go aggressive you NEED coilovers.

Go up to 19s or you're going to have to slam the **** out of your car for the look you want.

19x9.5 +20 with 235/35 and you're set. Roll rear fender pull the hardware out of the front fenders.
THANKS 4DGS!!!

got bc coils and front and rear SPC camber kit.... when you say 19x9.5+20 is that all 4 corners??

Thanks 4DGS!
Just to clarify, is it possible to fit the 10.5 on the rear in a lower offset (<+48) without rubbing on the struts?

Anyway, I am about to order some new wheels and need some feedback/advice. The wheel specs are F19x9.5 (+30et) R19x10.5 (+30et). These are for my 2008 2nd gen sedan (no fender mods) retrofitted with Akebono's dropped on H&R springs with about -1.8 to -2.0 camber up front and -1.6 in the rear.

Can you help me pick out the correct tire size? I was thinking 245/35/19 up front and 265/30/19 or 255/30 in the rear? Is that the correct tire size for those specs?

Also do I need to dial in extra camber in the rear to fit these?

Thanks in advance!

-Jason

IMO the front fitment can use a set of spacers to be flush, but the rear should be pretty flush.

Thanks in advance!

-Jason
Send Sn00p a message as he knows the inner clearance out back a little better than I do.

You'll definitely want a spacer up front and you'll want to match the stretch if you run 255/30 on the back you'll want a 235/30 up front.

If it were me, I'd go 235/35 front and 255/35 rear, pull the rear camber to about -3 and run a 5-10mm spacer just to be safe on clearing the strut.

Danny can help you out with all this as he knows the coupes inside out backwards. But the Inclined wheels is the negative camber. You start to notice it around -3 degrees, this can be achieved with a 3" drop AKA slam the car and the car will camber itself enough to give you the look you want.

I'm not 100% positive of the exact offset in which the wheel won't hit the strut. I need to look into that a little more.

I was wondering if anyone here could tell me what size tire I could fit on my volk GT-V's that are pretty stretched, I love the stretched look and they're a little cheaper than the 295/30/19 I have now! The fronts are *Fronts-19x8.5 *+23, and the Rears-19x10.5 +24, hope I can get a good stretch going

The front is pretty tough as it's so slim, a 225/35 is a VERY mild stretch up front almost to the point where it isn't a stretch. The rear is easy though, Mild stretch would be 255/35, mid stretch 245/35 and aggressive 235/35.

Check out tyrestretch.com for some images.

Btw rack city line FTW

As I said above, the 8.5 is hard to stretch on, 225/35 is your best bet.

And yea 255/35 would be good.

Yea you could probably do the 255/35 285/30 combo.

To set off the aggressive tires though, should considering running some small spacers and get the wheels right to the fenders!

About to order so I already bought my tires and 4DGS did provide input on my selected offsets. I'm inclined to believe he's right based on his other posts but thought i'd confirm because at the time I didn't decide on my tire sizes.

Can somebody please confirm that I shouldn't need to roll fenders to run this:

19*9.5(F) +15mm with 255/35/19 Nitto Invo
19*10(R) +15mm with 275/35/19 Nitto Invo

Order placed! Left it at +17mm right now but I wouldn't mind dropping it down a bit after 4DGS or some other wheel gurus come in here.

Likely won't run to the track with these wheels after all so I hope this should be good for spirited driving without eating through the sidewalls.
