TO ALL THE VETEREANS.. IYO.

Should i run 19x9.5+22 all around? 235/35

or

Should i stick with my original plan with 19x9.5/10.5+22? 235/35

Keep in mind i have AWD. Just want to get feed back on the best set up.. all i know is that the staggered set up looks way meaner than 19x9.5 all around.

Im ordering wheels tomorrow and it would be awesome if i can get some honest opinions..

Can't fit the zero offset.

You're going to need to run negative camber and a stretched tire for this set up. (meaning you will have to go pretty low)

LMK if that's cool

Again man, if you're worried about overall diamater issues and it throwing off your VDC, I'd still stagger the tires. Go 235/35 and 245/35 at least. The 235/35 on 10.5 stretch is going to look goofy compared to the more mild 235/35 on 9.5 stretch.

But I'd still do the staggered set up. If you run 235 with 9.5 the rear will pretty much look as wide as the 10.5 235/35 stagger. All about rubber width when you're looking at a staggered set up.

03 coupe here, first time posting and pretty new in general to the wheel/tire fitment scene, but hoping someone can point me in the right direction!

Just purchased a set of Vossen CV5's 20x10.5" +25ET all around (yes, I know very aggressive, but that full-on concave look is a must have) and wondering, based on a modest drop from stock height (say ~1" on BC Racing coils), what size of tires should I be looking at for clearance in the front? I realize some stretching will most definitely be involved and that's not an issue, nor will any rolling/pulling be a problem either.

Thanks in advance!

That's not really aggressive at all.

Are you looking for the stretch/poke look?

I'm going to recommend spacers either way.

Oh, I was just under the impression that I was slightly crazy going into this setup according to some of my friends. Haha. That and the fact that I'm unable to dig up many coupe owners who run 10.5 inch wide wheels up front so that I can ask their honest opinion on what will work in terms of daily driving.

Yes, I'll be going with a slightly stretched look, and perhaps a bit of poke but nothing too extreme.

What size in wheels would you recommend 4DGS?

^Specs on my wheels I am running are...
20x10 -10 F 225/35 roll and pull - camber
20x12 -22 R 265/30 roll and pull - camber

+25 You def can pull off with out a pull, roll, camber, basically you don't have to do anything, but get tires on them and slap them on. No work at all putting them on but taking old wheels off and putting new wheels on.
Since you are a 03 coupe I am assuming you have the stock 18" 7 spoke (2003/2004 optional 2005+ Coupe std) front and rears on the stock wheels on your car Front & Rear: 18"x8" +30mm offset. Only
+5mm diference from stockies other then the widths and size. Just to give you a reference on offsets.
Like 4DGS said depending on what look you want stretch/poke Go with spacers. He is right I would throw a set of spacers on there no matter what. You just won't like the look of that.
Nothing to extreme, I would do a 25mm up front and a 20mm in the rear making your wheels +0 up front and +5 rear 10.5 all around slight roll on your fenders.
Then I would do a 225/35 tire in the front and a 245/35 rear. Then you will be good to go. Hope that helped

ok, are you SURE that this set up on tires won't f*uck up my differential?

Ok to do a 20/11 +15 up front what kind of a hassle am I looking at? The rear will be the same so I guess it would be a square setup on a 04 coupe. I see many run a 255/35 or a 265/30 on the rear should I run the same up front? If I missed any info needed let me know.

... just want other options bc I'm sketched out about the differential with the 235/35 and 235/45. of course i want it to look right, but i don't want to fvck my G up.. unless you know it won't fvck it up for sure with out turning off the AWD... this wheel and tire research has been a challenge and all the help and advice you've provided has been very helpful. Thanks in advance!

I have a question that I meant to ask weeks ago in my other post but never got a chance to do so until now. Sorry about that!

At the moment, in the rear I'm running a 19 x 10.5 wheel with a +17 offset. I'm going to put a 10mm spacer to get a better look. My fenders are already rolled and I have adjustable rear arms already. Once, I get the spacers will I just need to add more camber to get the wheels to fit or will I need to do some more fender work and camber to fit the wheels?

The reason I want to know is because if I have to do fender work, I can get it taken care of while the spacers come in the mail.

Thanks for the help!!!

OEM 18" stock wheels on 07 coupe

I have stock OEM 18" and I want to get a more aggressive look with out buying new rims. What tires would fit on the stock rims...and would wheel spacers be a good idea? New to the car scene so I need some ideas.

Thanks guys

swapping tires won't make it any more aggressive.

I mean what width of tire could I fit on the rear? the tires i have now I bought off some guy in town and the rim sticks out further than the tire. The tires work very quickly.

To your average car those are aggressive specs, for the G they're easy as hell.

I hope you already have coilovers!

I'd suggest going 245/35 front and rear, and running 25mm spacers in the rear and probably 10 or 15 up front.

Yea 255 would be your best bet as it will match the stretch to the rear.

the 235/245/35 stagger on 9.5 and 10.5 is only 1% difference from front to back. There are guys running more aggressive staggers than that and still don't have issues.

235/35 on 9,5 and 245/35 on 10.5 is the way to go.

Go with the camber route and leave the fenders as is, this way you can adjust the camber to exactly where you want the wheel to sit and get them as flush as possible without rubbing.

Spacers are a good option for OEM wheels you'll want at least 20mm front and 25mm rear.

Tire sizes for those wheels are 225/45 and 245/40. Stick to those sizes as the wheels are too small for anything wider.

What issues will I have trying to fit this wheel and tire up front on a coupe? Being a 20/11+15 is it safe to assume I won't rub the inside on any suspension parts? Will a pull and tire rub be my biggest concern? So trying to make a educated guess from the last 20 or so pages I read piecing info together. Thanks!
