Black G coupe
OEM 17s
BC Coils
Rear SPC camber/toe kit
Nothing up front
Lowered 2" F/R
-2.3 front camber
-3.7 rear camber
No front fender work
Plans to roll the rears
Looking for Flush fitment or depending on the wheels, a little tuck
Looking at Gunmetal or Polished wheels
Super Concave or BIG lips
Budget for wheels AND tires around $2,000

Currently im eyeballin Stance SC-5
19x8.5 +15 F
19x9.5 +20 R

Thanks!
Buy some used 3 piece wheels from the marketplace for $2000. Not some chinese ****.

Look for specs around 9.5/10.5 low teens or single digit positives if you're looking to stretch.

Ahh ok, well you can fit literally anything you want on the coupe (especially with the help of kevin)

How much camber you plan to run? Looking to stretch I'd assume?

If you're not sure on all fronts, how low do you plan to go?

work euroline
front 18x8 +40
rear18x9 +40

I will be dropping the car on coilovers
Not that flush, but sorta flush. Front fitment will be terrible you'll want a 20mm spacer at least. Rear will need at least a 10mm.

okay guys,

I had wheels that were 19x10+27 in the rear with 255/35/19 tires and am looking at some new wheels that are a bit more aggressive. The ones i am looking at are 19x10.5 +24. I have my rear fenders rolled currently and was very close to rubbing with my previous setup. Would i be able to run these without having to pull my fenders? What size tire? I was thinking of 245/35/19 but not sure if that is too much of a stretch.

edit, also guys a question about re-polishing/repairing lips. They are volks and have some curbage. Are volk lips able to be re-polished? Are they clear coated or clear anodized? Also, are the volk GT-v faces removable?

^ if you keep the 255/35, they'll stretch more on the 10.5.
if they still rub, i would just add more camber.
245/35 on a 10.5 is a bit too much stretch for me.

Yeah 4DGS I've been searching for a while now. Here on Driver, my350z, Zilvia.net and my local craigslist. I DO find some good deals. Problem is they all seem to be on the west coast and don't want to ship LOL. Here in nashville it's all about hondas and lifted trucks. It makes searching for decent wheels a PITA! I really like the Stance Sc-5 but they just aren't aggresive enough. I dont like the idea of dropping 2k on wheels and STILL have to run spacers for fitment reasons. I'd rather do it right the first time.

Will putting OEM 18' Coupe wheels on a 03 Sedan work without any modifications, other then balance, rotation and allignement?

You may just have to add a little camber, but the 245 should free up enough space.

And yes the GTV faces can be removed, and they can be polished but you will need to polish all four as they are anodized.

Depends what look you're going for, post a pic of a car's fitment you like and I'll let you know.

Then save up more cash and buy wheels with the specs you require.

You don't even need an alignment when you mount new wheels.

You don't need to do anything to mount those wheels onto your car.

Thanks for the reply people!
My rear fenders are rolled, but not completely flat. Am planning to get it rolled again to as flat as possible.

I have decided to go with a larger lip size for the rear, so now my choice is:
F: 19x9.5 +15 (R-disk) /w spacer to clear brembos; 235/35/19
R: 19x11 +10 (O-disk) 265/35/19

As for the front drop I'm going to go a little less, as I now think 1.5 may be too much for me, I'm going to say about 1" or 1.25" at most. Rear drop about 0.8"

Will I need to pull a little for the front or rears?
Also, I haven't touched my front fenders at all but they seem to be already rolled (do they come factory like that?) so I haven't thought about rolling the fronts at all.

TIA
Go with the 8.5 +15 and 10 +20

Run 225/35 and 245/35.

Roll fenders totally flat and maybe a very mild pull to reduce camber.

May need a 10mm spacer in the front but that will depend how low you go.

I'd suggest buying camber arms now for the fine tuning.

Front's will fit fine, rears you'll need a little pull to get the +10 on there. Or if you have camber arms you can just add a little camber.

Fronts do come pre rolled and should not need any additional work with those specs.

Okay people,

I have a choice between two sets of wheels and am not sure which to go with

Set 1: Volk Gt-v with no tires that need some repair and a repolish for about $1400 locally. I can probably get them repolished and repaired for $200 bringing it to $1600 for an aggressive set
Front 19x9.5 + unkown
Rear 19x10.5 + 24

Set 2: Mint condition Work Vsxx with Achiles tires for $2500. These are not as aggressive and I will need a 10mm spacer up front but they are in perfect shape. Burning black is the color
Front 19x9.5 + 28
Rear 19x10.5 +29

so if I don't want to pull my fenders can I just roll them and add camber? I really want to avoid pulling them

The VSXX are the same specs that Jimmy just bought, decent price as long as the tires are the sizes you need, if not then they aren't any value to you.

The GTVs are a pretty sweet deal for $1400, you should just buy those and flip them for a $400 profit lol can easily get $2000 out of those with freshly polished lips.

Really comes down to the style you want, they're both good set ups that can be made to work no problem (but I would get him to figure out the front offset on the GTVs just so you don't get shafted with a 9.5 +30)

Only advantage I see of the VSXX is the fact they're 3 piece, but that's not relevant if you just plan to bolt them on.

Go with the wheel you like more, both deals are solid.

Yup, can always add camber as long as the wheel has clearance on the inside (clearance to the strut)
