Thanks for the input, this def not my first crack at wheels, just first crack at wanting to go very aggressive...

My old set up was 19x8.5 +32 front 225/35/19 & 19x9.5 rear +35 with 245/35/19, & i didnt rub then...plus already have rolled my rear fender wells in prep for that old set up...so i know i should be able to get another 245 in the rear with no issues..

currently i am back on my stock sport rim and running 245/40/17's on the Sport Rim, also with no issues rubbing.

I know someone on here has run a 295 before on sedan, cant remember who...and i think i ve seen a few people running a 275...i know i should walk before i run...I wanna go with wider tire than a 245....what camber would it take to get a 275/35 to work on that wheel/tire set up?

I'm currently running 275/30 on 11.5 +16....

Your best bet if you just want a fat tire is a higher offset wheel. Say 10 +40 It will sit about the same as your 9.5 +35 did. Any extra space you feel you had with the 9.5 you can reduce offset on the 10 to compensate.

The reason I am not suggesting 10.5 +40 is because the wheel will hit the strut on aftermarket coilovers. However on OEM rear struts a 10.5 +40 might actually clear as long as you're not running negative camber.

Are you wanting the large tires on the back for traction or for bad *** looks?

 

Do you have a pic you can post of your set up 275/30? what suspension set up are you running and what camber?

Actully i need both traction & i want the BAD*$$ look too! I am building a new motor ( on the engine stand waiting on more parts) I am not honestly sure what camber i am currently running in the rear. i can put it on the alignment rack 2mrw & find out...but i have plans to get coilovers in the near future, after the new motor build and turbo set up is done...

Vertini makes a 19x9.5 +40 for the rear but not in the finish i want...so i was considering the coupe offset instead so i can get the finish color i want to run...

Camber is pretty intense, about -6 and change.

If you're looking to spend $2000 on wheels why not look into a used set of volk GTS (the real version of the wheels you're after) they're lights, 2 piece and better in all aspects. And can be had for $2000 WITH tires. They often also pop up in 19x9 19x10 staggers and different set ups rather than the slim pickings that vertini is offering.

my suggestion, find 19x10 +40ish and 19x9 +25ish. Run 255/35 and 275/30, Call it a day.

Can I fit + 13 20x9 all around on my sedan without running camber? I got a solid 3imch drop and my Fenders are rolled. Fronts pinched thanks!

 

Hey Blain I got another question. So my the setup I'm trying to do is 19x9.5 +22 wheels with 255/35/19 in the front and 19x11 +25 wheels with 285/35/19 in the rear for a coupe. Right now I am at stock height but I plan on lowering it 1-1.5 inches in the future. Will this wheel at tire setup be ok if I keep oem camber when I'm lowered? Will I have any rubbing issues? Will I need to roll or pull the fenders?

No, won't fit with zero camber. You'd need stretch and camber. Or a lot of one or the other.

As long as the camber doesn't pull negatively like crazy you'll be fine. You will definitely need to roll. As you should roll even at stock height.

Thanks again, what tire size would you reccomend then? I don't wanna run too much camber where my tires would wear real bad, a little camber/ uneven wear I can handle. So I'd say a bit more stretch would be ok! Appreciate all the help!

 

Oh if you're willing to run SOME camber you're fine. I thought you wanted it totally zero.

Best bet is to run a 225/35 and run about -2.5 degrees of camber. As long as your toe is in spec you won't burn through tires too too crazy. BUT make sure you run symmetrical tires so you can flip them inside to outside.

You can always pull a little and reduce camber again.

They just barely didn't cleared AP racing 6 pots, so I'd assume they'd be pretty damn close to clearing. Maybe ask Rav Spec to be sure though.

 

Okay so a couple vendors got back to me on my Vossen offset question. Looks like the 19x10 +20 is what I'll have to work with. No big deal really. I'll just run spacers. I've ggot this so far;

Dropped 2"<---I can go lower with my coils

I think a 10 or 15mm spacer up front should work great(not sure which to go with) and a 20mm in the rear. Looking to stretch a 245/30-19 on the front AND rear. I want the stretch to be warranted. Not just to cheap out on tires. Thier not gonna last too long with my camber anyways. What do you wheel gurus think?
