Went with 245/40 all around on OEM 18s and VDC is not happy, so driving around with the VDC Off... Doesn't bother me at the moment since I got a bad *** deal but will still try and find replacements for rear if something comes up

Oddball wheel compatibility question - thrift store find

First post, new to the community. Very recent purchase on the G and it's snowing *****.

Too low on funds to drop 2Gs on new wheels/winter tires, but white knuckle driving on these roads is taking its toll on my sanity.

I stumbled across the following at a thrift store for $600 (pic attached). I'm headed there in the morning, but its a drive and I have my doubts as the center bore appears to be too small on the SC 430 wheels. Winter is dangerous enough where I live (Bend, OR). Last thing I need it wobbly wheels. I'm not too clear on the stud measurements, from what I've read the SC 430 rims' 12x1.5 should fit on my Gs 12x1.25, but I'm a tourist when it comes to this stuff.

Can anyone comment on fitment? Should I buy these and have a machine shop bore the center bore +6mm?

Blizzaks are P245/40 R18 x 4. Bit big for the fronts on snow, but I'm looking for ice traction.

2006 Lexus SC 430 rims with Bridgestone Blizzak MZ-03 like new

Bolt Pattern (in): 5x4.50
Bolt Pattern (mm): 5x114.3
Offset Range (mm): 34 to 45
Front Center Bore (mm): 60.1
Rear Center Bore (mm): 60.1
Stud_Size: 12x1.5

2006 Infiniti G35 Sedan (Sport Pkg.)

Bolt Pattern (in): 5x4.50
Bolt Pattern (mm): 5x114.3
Offset Range (mm): 35 to 45
Front Center Bore (mm): 66.1
Rear Center Bore (mm): 66.1
Stud_Size: 12x1.25

Many thanks to the community for all the great info so far. I wanna drive this thing, help!

An offset question or actually a double check of my math:

Building some wheels now, and I have the the front inners and outers and face put together...

The wheel is 9.5" so I measured:

The wheel outside lip to lip(overall rim width) is 10.5" = 266.7mm

Backspacing is 5 1/16" = 128.5875mm

overall rim width (266.7mm) / 2 = 133.35mm - backspacing (128.5875mm) = effective offset 4.7625mm ~ 5mm offset

edit: or is it -5mm offset?

Does this sound correct?

From what I pulled online they are 18x8 +45mm. Aside from the sizing issue, the center bore is too small for your car and would require you to either run custom spacers with a a hub lip that is 60.1mm on the wheel side and be bored to 66.1mm for your car, or you will need to machine the wheels to the proper center bore for your car.

Won't fit due to the center bore.

Well think about it, does the mounting surface end up passed half? or before half?

(when the back spacing is lesser than that of the a perfect half, you're obviously into the negatives)

But yea, I'm slightly drunk but math looks mostly correct lol

Much appreciated. Machine shop in town called it complicated but has agreed to mill them for $35 a wheel.

Coworker was like, hey those are wheels off of a retired hairdressers car...
