Right now i have a 275/30 on a 20x10.5. i think im gonna go with the 245/30 in the rear. But Sal doesn't want to touch my fenders anymore, he said that i shouldnt roll them anymore. So i guess i should get stretched tires and a lil bit of a negative camber and i should be good for a lower drop. And i agree with you on having a even drop, right now the front is a little lower but ill get it fixed soon. I just have to be patient.

Hey konxeptionz, how was the 512 run to Austin?

A 245/30 stretch is one hell of a stretch. You'll be rolling around on some rubber bands. If you're going to stretch a 245, at least have it a 245/35 size on a 20x10.5.

See if Sal can do a minor pull with your fenders and see what he comes up with. But a negative camber would work just as well too.

Project 512 in Austin was alright. There were some nice cars but also a lot of cars with chewed up fenders and some that were nowhere near hella flush. To top that off, it was pretty damn hot outside. I had more fun on the drive to Austin with StrictlyG's and the run on HWY 2222 that we did. Those were some awesome moments.

Hopefully, the next time StrictlyG's heads to Austin for an event, you can roll with us and have a good time. But I think the Austin guys are going to head up to see us, since we went and saw them.

Hokay. I bet this has been asked 1,000 times but I've searched and can't find an answer.

I'm wanting to run 18x10 all around on my coupe w/ brembo's. The offsets are +25. I ordered 1 wheel to test fit the front and back and I'm no where near fitting correctly up front. I'm fine in the back.

What size spacer do I need to run to fit the front and clear the brakes? Would a +15 spacer work?

Just by eyeballing it, I don't think a +15 spacer is going to give me enough clearance on the brakes but I may be wrong...

So I got my wheels and tires mounted. I'll provide information that will hopefully help others in the future.

2003 G35 SEDAN

Wheels: Privat Gassen 19x8 +30
Tires: Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 245-40-19
Suspension: OEM Revised 350Z suspension (springs, shocks & struts)
Camber: As close to spec as possible with the drop (and no camber arms, etc...)

Everything clears without having the fenders rolled... just barely.

It looks like it wont clear, but the tires juuusst barely camber in at the last second.

I tested by parking one tire on a huge bump so it tucked as much as possible, and then standing in the door jamb bouncing the suspension as much as possible... it still cleared... but only by 2 credit cards

I dont know what your offset now is, but i just put together a car with a 20x10.5 -15 on the rear and we stretched 245/35's and it doesnt stretch enough. The fender is half way down the tire with about -5 camber and it hardly clears. He's gonna go down to a 235/35.

From your pictures it looks like you have plenty of room if you were to go with a 245/35 and go a little lower without adding more camber, just the natural camber increase from the drop will suffice. You're already gaining ~15mm of room by going down to a 245 from a 275

Are spacers safe? I've read up on quite a few threads on here and everyone has got a different opinion on them. I've got an 06 G35x that I want to run the M45 sport wheels on. As far as I know, I need at least a 5mm spacer in front and nothing in the back. I don't plan on rolling my fenders and don't care for it being 100% flush with the fenders.

I was thinking to go with 5 all around or 10 max all around. How much extra strain am I actually putting on? I'm thinking to go with Ichiba or HR.

Also, does anyone if the prem package w/full spare will accommodate a wheel larger than 17"? It looks like a tight fit and I doubt if I get the M45 wheels or the g35 coupe wheels that a spare would fit.

I have a 06 g35 coupe with oem 19's and need new tires soon, what would be good tires to buy and what size to fit the oem 19s? I've heard alot of people going with Falken 452s. I'm not trying to spend too much money. How do the stock tires compare to the falkens or any other tires? Thanks for the help. Sorry if this is a noob question, just want to get some help from the people who know the most.

10mm would be fine. Spacers wouldn't cause any more strain than wheels with aggressive offsets. Make sense?

Nah...you could even do a 245 safely(so to speak)

Factory sizes are 245/40-19 and 225/40-19
you could run 255/35 and 235/35 if you wanted a little wider footprint

Falkens are okay but get noisey when they start wearing low. The factory bridgestone tires have a low wear life. Almost any other tire would last longer.

I'd recommend Nitto Invo or Vredestein Sessanta.

Completely acceptable...just make sure they are the proper sizes

On a g35 coupe, is -5rear and +5front considered aggressive offests or are they still really weak?

^^That all depends on the width of the wheel... I hardly see any stretch and no wheel poke so i'd guess you're running 8.5/9.5 with a 225/245 setup which isnt aggressive, not even with those offsets. Looks pretty flush though!

Yea its a stock coupe 18" wheel with a 245/45 tire so definitely no stretch.

What if I was to keep the same tire setup and make the rears -8 and fronts -5? Would that be considered aggressive, or do I need to stretch the tire to make it aggressive?
